SPD3 is the best near infrared single photon detector in the world. SPDIII is a complete system for photon counting based on a cooled InGaAs/InP
avalanche photodiode (APD). The APD is operated in gated mode. Owing to the
capacitor- balanced technology, ultra-low noise avalanche signal can be gained and
transferred to digital counting output signal.
Pantotek is a main deputy of this detector. Our member has taken part in the R&D staff.
